The documents herein regard the Mattel Electronics Intellivision project ranging from its inception in 1977 until the end of Chandler's involvement with the company in 1983.

This document collects a series of papers relating to meetings of Mattel staff with that of North American Philips, a subsidiary of a Dutch Electronics company. Pages 1 to 11 lay out the agenda for a meeting taking place February 16, 1983 to layout the current Mattel Electronics computer-oriented products. Several products mentioned include the Videotex system, PlayCable, the System Changer Atari 2600 compatible addon, and the Aquarius computer. Pages 12 to 25 outline a subsequent confidentiality agreement between Mattel and North American Philips which features a revised version signed by Dr. David Chandler.

Pages 26 to 30 from March 25, 1983 outlines specific exchange of technology through a series of notes and diagrams. Pages 27 and 28 refer to the in development Magnavox Odyssey 4 system which, like the Mattel Intellivision, was positioned as an expandable unit. An Odyssey 5 is even alluded to in the circle of products diagram. Page 29 and 30 features an equivalent specification for Mattel’s in development next generation console using the MAGIC component. The final page features a few phone numbers attached to a portion of the confidentiality agreement.
